Mateo Vega

Mateo Vega is Co-founder of POLEN Transiciones Justas. He is an Environmental and Sanitary Engineer from Universidad del Magdalena, where he studied and conducted research on the role of engineering in society and distributed solar photovoltaic energy as pathways toward a just energy transition in communities affected by open-pit coal mining. He is also an alumnus of the TRAJECTS network and President of the Community Initiatives Network, RICO.
