Nessim Assad

Nessim Assad works in renewable energy project development as a Senior Associate at POLEN Transiciones Justas. He holds a Master’s degree in Energy Systems and an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from TU Clausthal in Germany. Before joining POLEN, he led the “From Coal to the Future” team at Colombia’s Ministry of Mines and Energy, where he contributed to the roadmap for a just energy transition in Colombia, with a focus on coal-fired power plants.
