Maria Paula Contreras

Maria Paula Contreras Patiño works as a Junior Researcher at POLEN Transiciones Justas, focusing on legal and regulatory analysis of the power sector and providing legal support for technical proposals related to the energy transition. She holds an undergraduate degree in Law from Universidad de los Andes and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Environmental Law and Sustainability at the University of Alicante. Before joining POLEN, she completed her legal clinic work at the Environment and Public Health Clinic of Universidad de los Andes and gained experience in the private sector across different areas of law.
