Jessica Arias Gaviria

Jessica Arias Gaviria works as a Senior Researcher at POLEN Transiciones Justas, contributing to the strategic lines on power system transition and energy demand transition. She holds an M.Sc. and a PhD in Engineering from the National University of Colombia, with research focused on planning for the energy transition. Before joining POLEN, she served as Deputy Director for Demand at UPME, advisor at Colombia’s Ministry of Mines and Energy, researcher at Transforma and the National University of Colombia, and lecturer at the National University of Colombia and EAFIT.
